For more than 10 years, Yebbo.com has been the primary outlet for Ethiopian related news and information for the Ethiopian media and Ethiopian people. It has about five branches, which provide various services to its clients.

Engineering departments

Yebbo’s Engineering department is focusing on developing Africa-focused software and web sites for corporations and companies worldwide. Yebbo.com is the first company to develop Amharic keyboard and also the first few companies to localize web sites and software for Amharic and Tigrinya languages. Yebbo’s team also participated on localizing Google’s Amharic, Tigrinya, Somali and Swahili web sites. Additionally, Yebbo.com engineering team participated on localizing the Microsoft Vista Project.

Localization and Translation Team

Yebbo's Localization and Translation team is one of few companies in the world who are focused on the languages of Africa. It is the prime vendor of these languages for big corporations, government agencies and small agencies worldwide. Yebbo's lients are scattered all over the world, including Africa, North America, Europe, Australia and Asia. According to 2006 client request data, the Afro-Asiatic Amharic, Tigrinya, Somali and Oromo are designated as Yebbo’s Core languages, in addition to the Niger-Congo Swahili language, and the Nilo-Saharan Dinka and Nuer languages. Also Yebbo offers translation, legal and medial interpretation, voice over, subtitling, transcribing and cultural and language advices. Currently, Yebbo is working hard to open its first Yebbo University. The institution is slated to teach individuals the aforementioned languages on line and on location.

Travel and tour

Yebbo's other department is the Yebbo Travel Agency which helps its clients worldwide to have their lifetime Ethiopian vacation. Yebbo is helping people get around.
